JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) — New Jersey officials are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted during a break-in at a home Sunday night, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced Monday.
Just before 7 p.m., the police were notified of a home invasion at a private residence on McAdoo Avenue in Jersey City, authorities said.
Upon arrival, responding officers located a woman who reported an unknown man entered her residence through a window before physically and sexually assaulting her.
The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for multiple injuries.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
