NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (1010 WINS) — The man accused of fatally stabbing two men in a double homicide in New Jersey Saturday night took his own life Sunday morning, according to authorities.

The two victims—Gabriela De La Cruz Camero, 22, and Jesus Antonio-Salazar, 25—were found stabbed around 11 p.m. Camero was discovered near the park, while Antonio-Salazar was found inside the park.

Antonio-Salazar was pronounced dead on the scene and Camero was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where he later died, prosecutors said.

Hours later, police discovered 26-year-old Eduardo Mateo Lorenzo, dead about a half mile from the park.

Investigators believe that Lorenzo knew both victims and stabbed them before taking his own life, prosecutors said.

An investigation is ongoing.

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office is asking anyone with information to call Detective Jose Rosario at 732-745-3289.
