
HUNTINGTON STATION, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A man was killed and another injured in a stabbing at a house party on Long Island early Sunday morning, Suffolk County Police said.
The party was held at a home on Lowndes Avenue in Huntington Station, and police responded at about 2 a.m. after a 911 caller reported a stabbing.
Justino Alfaro-Avila, 29, was one of the victims. He was transported to Huntington Hospital and did not survive his injuries.
Another victim, 39, who was stabbed was treated at a local hospital and released, police said.
