SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — One person was killed at a Southampton home during a Christmas morning home invasion, according to authorities.
Suffolk County Police said authorities responded to a call of a burglary at a home on Roses Grove Road at 8:45 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man inside the home with a gunshot wound.
The victim, whose identity was withheld by police pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene by a member of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's Office.
No other information was immediately available.
