NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating the shooting that left a man and a woman wounded Tuesday evening in the Bronx, according to officials.
The incident occurred on April 27, at 6:15 p.m., authorities said.
Police responded to a 911 call of a person shot at East 216 Street and Olinville Avenue in the Olinville area.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man and a woman that had been shot.
The man, 39-year-old Robert Hill, a Mount Vernon resident was shot in the chest, officials said.
Hill was transported to Montifiore Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The second victim, a 27-year-old woman was shot once in the torso and taken to Montifiore Medical Center in stable condition.
So far, no arrests had been made and and investigation remains ongoing.
