
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The body of a 42-year-old man was found in a reservation in New Jersey on Thursday, Passaic County Prosecutor said.
Members of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office found the body at around 1 p.m. in the Garret Mountain Reservation in Passaic County, according to a release.
The victim has not yet been identified.
Officers also found the victim’s car in the same area as the reservation located at 8 Mountain Ave. in Woodland Park, prosecutors said.
“Although this matter remains an active and ongoing investigation, there are no suspects being sought at this time, and there is no danger to the public,” Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said in the release.
An investigation is ongoing.
