NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a 12-year-old girl who went missing on Long Island Thursday morning and is "believed to be suicidal."
Keithy Obando was last seen on Poxio Street in Copiague in Suffolk County at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, New York City Emergency Management said in an alert.
Obando, who is "believed to be suicidal and may be in need of medical attention," may have headed to Hemsptead in Nassau County after she went missing, the alert said.
She was last seen wearing a puffy purple winter jacket, blue jeans and glasses, according to the alert.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or call the Suffolk County Police Department at 631-854-8100.
