WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (WCBS 880) — A mother and her two daughters have been charged for allegedly providing fraudulent COVID-19 vaccination cars to maintain and obtain employment at a Westchester County nursing home.

Antoinette Clarke, 48, Dzjara Clarke, 27, and Jajvia Clarke, 22, all of Poughkeepsie, were charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a felony.
According to Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah, while employed at a Croton-on-Hudson nursing home, Antoinette allegedly produced a fake vaccination record when New York State mandated all healthcare workers must be immunized against COVID-19.
Antoinette’s two daughters allegedly produced similar fraudulent documents when they applied for nursing assistant positions at the care facility soon after the mandate went into effect.
“People who create fraudulent vaccination cards and pretend to be vaccinated to enter workplaces, businesses or facilities, particularly ones with vulnerable populations, are putting others at increased risk of the serious effects of COVID-19,” Rocah said. “Making, possessing, purchasing or selling fraudulent COVID-19 Vaccinations Record Cards is a crime.”
The trio is scheduled to appear in Cortlandt Town Court on March 14.
Rocah’s office is encouraging anyone with information regarding the purchase, possession, or sale of fake or forged vaccination cards report the offence at (914) 995-TIPS.
New Yorkers can also report vaccine-related fraud to the New York State Department of Health by calling 833-VAX-SCAM (833-829-7226) or emailing STOPVAXFRAUD@health.ny.gov.
