LOS ANGELES -- Britney Spears is currently under investigation for allegedly striking an employee on Monday, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office saiid Thursday.
An employee of Spears claims the singer struck them during a dispute at her home on Monday around 10 a.m., according to CBS Los Angeles.
The employee was not hurt, but filed a complaint with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office will forward the results of its investigation to the District Attorney’s Office for potential consideration of misdemeanor battery charges.
