NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Child star, singer and teen heartthrob Aaron Carter is dead at 34, TMZ and People reported.
Police told TMZ he was found drowned in his bathtub.
Carter put out his first album in 1997 at 9 years old. He toured with the Backstreet Boys and was a regular on Nickelodeon shows.
As he got older, Carter suffered from substance abuse issues — attending rehab multiple times and speaking candidly about his experience on the show “The Doctors.”
