Rylee McCollum, 20, of Wyoming, was among 13 American troops killed by a suicide bomber at an airport in Kabul on Aug. 26, 2021.

Shortly after, Baldwin reached out to one of the soldier’s sisters, Roice, and sent a $5,000 check to Rylee’s widow, according to the Casper Star Tribune.

Court docs showed that on Jan. 1, 2022, Roice posted to her Instagram a picture that she took on Jan. 6, 2021 of demonstrators at the Washington Monument.

The suit said Roice attended a demonstration in support of former President Donald Trump on Jan. 6, but wasn’t involved in the Capitol riot. She was interviewed by the FBI in relation to the events of Jan. 6, but wasn’t accused of any crimes, according to the report.

In the criminal complaint, Baldwin reportedly commented on Roice’s page, saying, “Are you the same woman I sent the $ for your sister’s husband who was killed during the Afghanistan exit?” The comment appears to have since been deleted.

After confirming she was, Baldwin allegedly messaged her, “When I sent the $ for your late brother, out of real respect for his service to this country, I didn’t know you were a January 6th rioter.”

Rylee responded to Baldwin, saying that protesting was her legal right, the report said.

“Your activities resulted in the unlawful destruction of government property, the death of a law enforcement officer, an assault on the certification of the presidential election. I reposted your photo. Good luck,” Baldwin responded, according to the Cowboy State Daily.

Baldwin did repost the picture on his account, which has over 2 million followers, and led to “hostile” threats from other users, the suit said. Those allegedly included people equating her to ISIS or a Nazi, and another that she posted to her Instagram, with a user saying, “Get raped and die, you worthless ----. Your brother got what he deserved.”

They claimed Baldwin did nothing to stop the threats and should’ve known better.

“I think it’s worth noting, too, that his social media following … is five times the population of your state,” family attorney Dennis Postiglione told the Star Tribune.

Roice, her sister Cheyenne and McCollum’s widow Jiennah are seeking at least $25 million from Baldwin for defamation, invasion of privacy, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

A representative for Baldwin didn't respond to a request for comment from the New York Post.
