NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Madonna was admitted to the ICU on Saturday following a "serious bacterial infection," her manager Guy Oseary said Wednesday.

Although Oseary did not specify the location of the hospital, the New York Post reported that the hospital was in New York City, where the performer has at least one home.

“On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which [led] to a several day stay in the ICU,” Oseary wrote on Instagram. "Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”

Oseary added, "At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour."

The "Celebration" tour was slated to kick off in Vancouver, Canada on July 15, with dates at Madison Square Garden scheduled on Aug. 23, Aug. 24, Aug. 26, Aug. 27; and Barclays Center on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14

"We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows,” Oseary wrote.
