Pfizer files paperwork to trademark 'Science will make the breakthrough' for marketing vaccine

NEW YORK (1010 WIN) -- Pfizer, one of the pharmaceutical companies which has developed a COVID-19 vaccine, has applied for a trademark phrase that will be used to market the vaccine: "Science will make the breakthrough."

The company filed documents this week to secure the phrase, TMZ reported.

A Pfizer spokesperson declined to tell TMZ exactly what the campaign would look like, but offered, "We plan to use the phrase in our corporate campaign as a continuation of our 'Science Will Win' digital ads.”
