WASHINGTON, D.C. (1010 WINS NEWS) — Pete Buttigieg and his husband, Chasten, celebrated the start of their new family Saturday, sharing a photo with their son and daughter on Saturday.
"Chasten and I are beyond thankful for all the kind wishes since first sharing the news that we’re becoming parents," the US Transportation Secretary wrote on Twitter. "We are delighted to welcome Penelope Rose and Joseph August Buttigieg to our family."
Buttigieg announced the news that the couple had become parents back in August, and thanked the public for respecting his privacy at that time. The former mayor fo South Bend, Indiana, has openly spoken about wanted to become a father in the past.
