NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit President Joe Biden at the White House on Wednesday during a surprise visit to the U.S.

The visit, which will be Zelensky’s first trip outside of Ukraine since the Russian invasion in February, had remained secret due to security concerns.

The meeting comes as the administration works on another defense assistance package, anonymous sources told CNN.

The White House has not yet confirmed the visit or announced another aid package.
