TRENTON, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- New Jersey reported one new COVID-19 fatality and 478 new cases on Monday, Gov. Phil Murphy said.
The new fatality and positive test results brought the state's death toll to 14,387 and its case total to 214,097, Murphy tweeted.
Ocean County reported 89 of the new cases, Essex County reported 56 and Bergen County reported 47, the state's COVID-19 tracker shows.
As of Sunday, 662 people in the state were hospitalized with confirmed or probable COVID-19 cases, 163 of whom were in intensive care units and 52 of whom were on ventilators, according to the tracker.
The state has reported a total of 58 COVID-19 cases in schools, linked to 16 different outbreaks, the tracker shows.
