NEWARK, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A Newark Parking Authority employee has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for selling crack cocaine, heroin and illegal guns, prosecutors say.
A judge handed down the sentence to Aughkay Green, 50, of Newark, last week, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey said in a press release.
Prosecutors say Green sold 38 grams of heroin for $1,200 and nearly 50 grams of crack cocaine for $2,250 in January and March of 2017, respectively.
Green was wearing his Newark Parking Authority uniform when he sold the drugs, prosecutors said.
In April 2017, meanwhile, Green and an accomplice sold two handguns and 50 rounds of ammunition to a buyer for $1,360, the attorney's office said.
Green will be supervised for three years after he is released from prison, prosecutors said.
