PARAMUS, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A New Jersey afterschool aide was arrested over the weekend for allegedly sexually assaulting a pre-teen, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced.
Johnathon Jones, 21, was arrested in Paramus on Saturday, Dec. 2 and charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.
On Friday, Dec. 1, the Englewood Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile.
An investigation determined that Jones sexually assaulted a child under the age of 13 in Englewood, while in a supervisory role.
Jones was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in court.
