The collision occurred around 11:45 a.m. near Halsted and Main Streets in East Orange, city spokesperson Connie Jackson said.

Footage from the scene shows the fire truck crashed into a building facing a dump truck and multiple cars.

All three firefighters aboard the truck were injured as well as the driver of the dump truck and a motorist. They were taken to University Hospital in Newark with minor injuries, authorities said.

The fire truck caused minor exterior damage to Olive May natural food store when it crashed into the building, Jackson said. The store was temporarily closed for cleanup.

It’s unclear what caused the crash and the investigation remains ongoing.
