NEWARK, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A man was hospitalized after he was struck by a Newark fire truck on Thursday night, authorities said.
According to officials, the man was struck shortly before 8 p.m. in the vicinity of Summit and Warren streets.
The pedestrian was transported to University Hospital for treatment in stable condition.
It is unclear if the fire truck was responding to a call.
