ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) — An Atlantic City High School teacher was arrested for having sex with a student, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office announced Friday.

Joseph Scalfaro, 47, engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with the student both on and off school property, officials said.
Prosecutors charged him with endangering the welfare of a child, criminal sexual contact and official misconduct.
He’s currently being held at Atlantic County Justice Facility.
