HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A New Jersey man was arrested this week for allegedly hanging out on the hood of a cop car with a meth pipe—in the middle of the day outside a police headquarters.
An officer was entering the parking lot of the Hackettstown Police Department at 11 a.m. Wednesday when he saw the 27-year-old on the hood of an unmarked car, police said.
"Just take me to jail," the man, identified as Cody Zeigler, told the officer, according to police.
He then pointed to a pipe with suspected meth residue that he'd placed on the hood of the car, police said.
He was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.
