The 57-year-old Newark man, Armando Conceicao, communicated with a man in May 2021 to locate the girl and kill her. He gave the hitman the girl’s address, a picture of her and cash to carry out the job, court documents show.

The supposed hitman drove from New Jersey to Texas and took photos of the victim’s house, her father’s car and the surrounding area, authorities said.

Conceicao told the hitman to follow through with the plan and murder the girl, through it’s unclear why he wanted her dead.

The plan was ultimately intercepted and the girl is still alive.

Conceicao was indicted on two murder-for-hire charges. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
