OLD BRIDGE, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A New Jersey man is dead after a two-vehicle crash on a parkway early Monday, New Jersey State Police said.
The 39-year-old Teaneck man, Gabriel Farias, was driving in a Mini Cooper north in the express lanes around 12:25 a.m. on the Garden State Parkway in Old Bridge when the crash happened, police said.
Farias got into a sideswipe collision with a Jeep Grand Cherokee and then struck a concrete barrier followed by a guardrail before overturning, according to authorities.
Emergency responders pronounced Farias dead at the scene.
More information about the other driver was not immediately available and the investigation is ongoing.
