NJ police on the hunt for man who flashed gun at postal worker during road rage incident

UPPER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A man is wanted by New Jersey State Police for allegedly brandishing a gun at a postal worker during a road rage altercation on a state highway last week.

The suspect was driving a black Cadillac SUV north on the State Highway 50 bridge in Upper Township at about 12:37 p.m. on Feb. 6 when he became engaged in a fight with the victim, a United State Postal Service worker.

Both individuals exited their vehicles during the altercation and the suspect allegedly flashed a gun at the postal worker before fleeing the scene, authorities said.

Police released a sketch of the suspect and photo of his Cadillac on Tuesday seeking the public’s assistance in identifying him.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall man between 40 and 50 years old with dirty blonde hair and a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored t-shirt.
