TRENTON, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Gov. Phil Murphy on Friday continued to urge residents to wear a mask as the state reported 3,399 new cases and 28 new confirmed COVID-19 related deaths.
"These numbers speak for themselves," Murphy said.
The governor urges residents to continue following safety restrictions adding that it's the better alternative to dying from the virus.
During a briefing on Thursday, Murphy was asked to address anti-maskers who refuse to wear masks who are "tired" of wearing an "uncomfortable" mask.
"You know what's really uncomfortable and annoying? When you die." Murphy said.

Murphy on Friday also announced an $800,000 grant that would generate training hubs for K-12 educators involved with computer science education.
"To lead the innovation economy – and continue to have the best schools in the nation – we must invest in our educators," he said.
