MOUNT OLIVE, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A New Jersey man was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a teenage employee at the salon he owns back in August, prosecutors said Thursday.

The Mount Olive man, 42-year-old Joseph Guzman, allegedly assaulted a 16-year-old employee on Aug. 10, officials said.

Guzman is the owner of Joseph Vincent’s Salon, also in Mount Olive, where he was the girl’s boss, according to authorities.

He was arrested on Nov. 23 and charged with second-degree sexual assault of a victim between the ages of 16 and 17.

Prosecutors also charged Guzman with endangering the welfare of a child and four counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.

After a detention hearing on Monday, Guzman was released from custody and ordered to submit to pre-trial monitoring. He was also ordered not to not have unsupervised contact with juveniles.
