BRIDGETON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (1010 WINS) — A 61-year-old New Jersey woman died Sunday after falling at a waterfall in a Pennsylvania park, according to authorities.
Catherine Elder of Milford was pronounced dead at 1 p.m. at Ringing Rocks County Park in Bridgeton Township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She died from multiple injuries to the head and right arm, officials said.
Elder was walking along the top of a waterfall when she slipped and fell to the base, police said. Bystanders who witnessed the accident called 911.
Her death has been ruled accidental by the coroner's office.
