UNION CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a New Jersey drug dealer during a motor vehicle stop on Wednesday, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez.
Following a three-week investigation, 36-year-old George Suarez was arrested by the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force after his vehicle was pulled over at 29th Street and Summit Avenue, officials said.
Police seized almost 60 grams of cocaine during the stop and approximately 200 additional grams of cocaine along with a .380 caliber handgun during a search of Suarez's home, prosecutor Suarez added.
Suarez , who has no relation to prosecutor Suarez is facing several drug offenses including third-degree drug possession, second-degree drug possession with intent to distribute and first-degree drug possession with intent to distribute.
He was also charged with possession of a firearm while committing a narcotics offense, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, officials added.
