MAHWAH, N.J. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A tractor-trailer overturned and spilled lemons all over a New Jersey highway on Wednesday morning.
Photos show the sour scene in Mahwah, where hundreds of lemons covered Route 17 after the 10 a.m. crash near Mountainside Avenue.

The out-of-control truck struck an overhead sign in the northbound lanes, which ripped open the trailer and spilled lemons onto the southbound lanes in a crash that left a "citrusy smell" in the air, NorthJersey.com reported.
It wasn't immediately clear if anyone was injured in the crash, which involved an SUV and shut down all lanes of the highway for a time.
