NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has yet to decide whether she will mount a primary challenge against Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in 2022, she said in a new interview.

In an interview with Punchbowl News, Ocasio-Cortez said she was “still very much in a place where I’m trying to decide what is the most effective thing I can do to help our Congress, our [political] process, and our country actually address the issues of climate change, health care, wage inequality, et cetera.”

“I’m a no b------t kind of person,” she said. “I’m not playing coy or anything like that.”

Ocasio-Cortez also said it was “hard… to say” whether she thought Schumer had done a good job in the role, adding that she and her fellow Democratic politicians have “had to deal with a fascist president and Mitch McConnell.”
