HUD Secretary Ben Carson, Trump adviser David Bossie test positive for COVID-19

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Ben Carson, the U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development has tested positive for COVID-19, his deputy chief of staff confirmed to ABC News Monday morning.

A few hours later, Bloomberg reported that David Bossie, an adviser to President Trump, had also tested positive. Bossie was tapped last week to lead Trump’s post-election political and legal battles challenging ballots in several states.

Carson, 69, is "in good spirits & feels fortunate to have access to effective therapeutics which aid and markedly speed his recovery," the staffer said.
