NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Bruce Springsteen will perform at a “get out the vote” rally for Kamala Harris in Philadelphia next week—an event just days before the election that will also include Barack Obama.

The former president and "The Boss" will hold the “When We Vote We Win” concert on Oct. 28, the vice president's campaign announced in an email to supporters Monday. Additional details about the concert weren't immediately released.

Pennsylvania has become a major campaign focus for both Harris and her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, as they vie for the key battleground state, which helped send President Joe Biden to the White House in 2020 after going for Trump in 2016.

Springsteen, 75, endorsed Harris earlier this month, saying she had a “vision of this country that respects and includes everyone” and calling Trump “the most dangerous candidate for president in my lifetime.”

His endorsement was not a big surprise—the “Born in the USA” singer, who hails from New Jersey, has been an outspoken supporter for Democratic candidates and causes over the years, including Obama's campaigns.
