NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- President Trump's advisers have tossed around the idea of having a rally -- as soon as this weekend, according to a new report.
The GOP advisers are scratching their heads wondering how to occupy the president's time until the final votes are counted, the New York Times reported Friday.
So holding a rally with the usual spirited crowd of supporters has been considered, the Times reported, citing a person briefed on the discussions.
The advisers are also wondering how to discuss with Trump the possibility of a post-White House life. They think talk of a 2024 run may make a loss a bit easier to swallow.
Some of those around the president think he will concede eventually but that he probably won't ever publicly accept the results.
In the meantime though, Trump's lawyers and surrogates -- including Rudy Giuliani -- continue to launch or threaten legal challenges in several states.
