NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- The NYPD released images of multiple suspects Monday for a group of purse-snatchers who attacked two women in Queens and fled on mopeds.

Four suspects approached the first victim, a 30-year-old woman, at 12 a.m. on Oct. 6 as she stood alone near Roosevelt Avenue and 75th Street in Elmhurst, police said.

The suspects attempted to forcibly remove the victim's purse – dragging her to the ground – but they were unable to retrieve it, according to the NYPD. The victim was uninjured.

The second attack occurred two hours later, at 2 a.m., when four suspects violently took the bag of a 46-year-old woman as she walked near 35th Avenue and 98th Street in North Corona, cops said.

During the robbery the victim fell to the ground and hit her head on the pavement. EMS brought the woman to the hospital for treatment in stable condition.

In both instances, the four suspects fled the scene on their mopeds. They were last seen heading eastbound on 37th Avenue, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
