At 86 years old she can still do 10 pushups—not the "girl kind"—has taken on international meme status and, oh yeah, is one of the most vocal, engaging and active members of the Supreme Court of the United States. Ruth Bader Ginsburg is also the only Supreme Court justice ever to receive the honor of having her own beer (there's not a Hugo Black lager out there that we missed is there?).

The RBG brew is a brut IPA—a very dry style of beer—that Sam Adams brewed on International Women's Day. The brewery called it When There Are Nine, which RBG fans may know was her response to a question about how many female Supreme Court justices are enough.

Sam Adams is serving the beer at an event in its Boston taproom on Friday March 29 from 5pm-9pm that will benefit the Pink Boots Society, a group that works to elevate women in the male-dominated brewing industry. But that means the beer will be a limited edition run—at this point it doesn't appear that any collectible Notorious RBG cans will be forthcoming.

What you can do is a get a ticket for the event. $20 will get you entry, a pint of When There Are Nine, four dumplings from food truck-turned brick and mortar dumpling house Mei Mei and a donation to the Pink Boots Society. For every additional pint of When There Are Nine you buy the brewery will donate another dollar to Pink Boots.

If you head to the taproom on Friday, be prepared to work. In addition to all the beer and dumplings there will also be a plank contest. It should be fun to see if anyone can beat the actual RBG at planking after they've had a few IPAs.

You can find tickets for the When There Are Nine event at Eventbrite.
