TUXEDO, N.Y., (WCBS 880) -- State Police are investigating a wrong-way crash involving two vehicles that left two men dead, including a Brooklyn rabbi on the Thruway early Tuesday, authorities said.
The vehicles were occupied by drivers only, both of whom were pronounced dead on the scene, according to officials.
The victims were later identified as 67-year-old Yidel Weinstock, a Brooklyn rabbi who lives in Chester, and 68-year-old George Gonzalez, of Dumont, New Jersey.
All southbound lanes were blocked during accident reconstruction but have since ropened.
An investigation remains ongoing.
