NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was arrested on Monday for stabbing a 22-year-old victim in the torso and arm, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
Police responded to a disturbance around 11 p.m. near Polo Road and Oxford Road in Massapequa.
After an initial investigation, they determined that a 25-year-old suspect got into an argument with a 22-year-old man. The suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the torso and arm, according to police.
The suspect fled the scene in a black Dodge Durango.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.
Following the investigation, detectives located the suspect, Joseph Fochi, and arrested him without incident.
Fochi is charged with assault.
