YAPHANK, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- A total of 11 Suffolk County businesses have fallen victim to overnight burglaries over just two weeks, police said Friday.
Police said they are searching for suspects involved in the crimes that begin with a man breaking a window or glass door, entering a business and stealing cash.
During one incident, a man stole an ATM and loaded it into a vehicle with the help of another man, according to Suffolk cops.
Money was stolen in all but one of the incidents, police said. Two businesses ended up being hit on more than one occasion.
Police said the crimes happened at:
SEPT. 23: Lemon Tree Hair Salon in Holbrook between 3:30 a.m. and 7:20 a.m.
SEPT. 29: Cafe Timboo in Smithtown between 1:55 a.m. and 2:35 a.m.
OCT. 1: Luka's Cafe and Deli in Holbrook at around 12:25 a.m.
OCT. 2: Mayra's Bakery in Lake Grove at about 4:15 a.m.
OCT. 3: Dunkin' in East Setauket (197 Main St.) at about 12:15 a.m.
OCT. 4: Luka's Cafe and Deli in Holbrook at about 1:05 a.m.
OCT. 4: Tai Show North in Setauket at about 8:10 a.m.
OCT. 4: Dunkin' in Bohemia (1573 Lakeland Ave.) at about 8 p.m.
OCT. 5: Dunkin' in Bohemia (1573 Lakeland Ave.) at about 4:30 a.m.
OCT. 6: Edesia Pizzeria and Restaurant in Bohemia at about 1:15 a.m.
OCT. 6: Carolina Kitchen in Medford at about 2:35 a.m.
OCT. 6: Hummus Mediterranean in Holbrook at about 4:30 a.m.
OCT. 7: Horseblock Heros in Medford at about 5:25 a.m.
