SEA CLIFF, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A construction worker was seriously injured in 20-foot fall on Long Island on Wednesday morning, authorities said.
According to detectives, at 10:46 a,m., a 43-year-old male was working at a residential construction site on Highland Avenue in Sea Cliff when he fell off a ladder.
The man was working at a height of approximately 20 feet when he fell and suffered serious injuries.
He was transported by a Nassau County Police Helicopter to a local hospital for treatment and is currently listed in stable condition.
The investigation remains ongoing.
