NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Former Governor Andrew Cuomo still has over $16 million in campaign funds according to a financial disclosure report filed with the Board of Elections on Tuesday.

Cuomo, who resigned from office in August following reports of sexual harrasment, has spent roughly $2 million on legal recourse including a spokesperson and attorneys, the Daily News reported.
Once known for being a ferocious fundraiser, Cuomo still garnered 482 contributions over the last six months totalling $224,270 from 482 contributions, much of which came prior to his resignation.
The sexual harrasment reports have come at a steep cost to Cuomo who has had to pay large sums to legal representation, including $899,999 to Glavin PLLC and another $800,000 to Sullivan & Cromwell who defended him during the state attorney general’s investigation of harrasment claims.
Cuomo also faced criminal charges for the harassment claims which were dismissed in court earlier this month.
Before stepping down, filings from last summer show the former governor had over $18 million on hand which includes an $80,000 donation made by the Wilpons, the owners of the Mets, just before Cuomo stepped down.
Kathy Hochul, who replaced Cuomo last year, has raised over $21 million since becoming governor.
