NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A current aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo is the latest woman to accuse him of sexual harassment, claiming he made suggestive remarks to her, kissed her on the forehead at an office party, stared at her body and commented on her looks.
The New York Times on Friday published an interview with current Cuomo employee Alyssa McGrath, 33.
In the interview, McGrath claimed Cuomo referred to her and her female co-worker as “mingle mamas,” asked her about her divorce, called her “beautiful” in Italian, looked down her shirt before asking her about a necklace she was wearing and kissed her on the forehead at an office Christmas party in 2019.
McGrath also claimed another current aide who has accused Cuomo of groping her inside the Executive Mansion in Albany told her about that encounter.
“He has a way of making you feel very comfortable around him, almost like you’re his friend,” McGrath told the Times. “But then you walk away from the encounter or conversation, in your head going, ‘I can’t believe I just had that interaction with the governor of New York.'”

A lawyer for Cuomo on Friday told the Times the governor “has greeted men and women with hugs and a kiss on the cheek, forehead or hand."
“Yes, he has posed for photographs with his arm around them. Yes, he uses Italian phrases like ‘Ciao Bella,’” the lawyer said.
“None of this is remarkable, although it may be old-fashioned. He has made clear that he has never made inappropriate advances or inappropriately touched anyone,” the lawyer added.
