The state's pandemic death toll is now 53,692 people, according to John Hopkins University.
New York reported another 410 cases on Friday. Statewide hospitalizations were at 340 patients, nine fewer than the day before.
The state's seven-day positivity average was 0.51%, up slightly from the 0.48% reported Friday.
On the vaccine front, the state has now administered 21,287,701 total doses, including 342,234 over the past week.
According to the CDC, 72.4% of New York adults have gotten at least one vaccine dose and 65.6% have completed their vaccine series.
"New Yorkers have achieved remarkable progress and thanks to the hard work of our essential workers, our health professionals, and everyone else who made sacrifices to help slow the spread of the virus, we continue to be on a good trajectory," Cuomo said in a statement, urging more New Yorkers to get vaccinated and not get "complacent with COVID."
