NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A Long Island volleyball coach was arrested on Thursday for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl twice, Nassau County Police Department said.
Jason Maser, 22, from Syosset, was arrested for raping the 15-year-old girl while employed as a girls' volleyball coach for Sacred Heart High School in Hempstead on two separate occasions, police said.
Detectives said the first incident happened on Feb. 7, and the second on March 7.
Maser is charged with two counts of rape in the third degree, two
counts of criminal sexual act third degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Maser was set to be arraigned Friday in Hempstead.
