ROSLYN, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — Authorities launched an investigation after human remains were found in a harbor on Long Island on Tuesday evening.
According to detectives, at 5:56 p.m., Nassau County officers responded for reports of human remains found in Hempstead Harbor in Roslyn.
Upon arrival, officers located and recovered the body of a deceased male.
No other details were released by police.
Investigation is ongoing.
