
EAST GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- Officials are searching for two men wanted for violently robbing a woman of her Lamborghini at a Long Island mall parking garage Tuesday evening.
According to detectives, at about 5:30 p.m., a 44-year-old woman exited Roosevelt Field Mall in East Garden City and walked to the top level of the red parking garage where her 2020 grey Lamborghini URIS was parked.
After she entered her vehicle, the suspect opened the driver’s door then forcibly pulled her out and pushed her onto the ground as a second suspect entered the driver’s seat, officials said.
The victim was held on the ground as the suspects searched her jacket for the car keys and after locating them, they fled the scene in the Lamborghini.
The woman sustained pain, swelling and bruising to her left ankle and left leg. She was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Both suspects wore all black clothing and facemasks, according to police. No further description is currently available.
