NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Detectives arrested a 52-year-old man for harassment and stalking on Long Island, authorities announced Friday.
According to police, the victims' seven-year-old son was sleeping when he awoke from loud screaming and notified his parents about the situation.
They reviewed their doorbell surveillance camera and observed a neighbor leaving a package at the house.
The victims have received unwanted packages from this neighbor in the past and notified police, authorities said.
It was determined the envelope had hateful symbols on the outside and contained letters with antisemitic remarks.
William Quigley of Hewlett was arrested without incident.
He is facing multiple charges including harassment and stalking.
