NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 73-year-old Long Island man was identified by state police Monday as the sole victim killed in a helicopter crash this weekend.

Police said pilot Arthur Charych was killed Sunday after his helicopter crashed near Storm King Mountain in Cornwall around 3:30 p.m.
Officials said Charych was operating a 2007 Robinson R44 Rotocraft when it went down.
State police said an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
