NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A woman who moved to Florida from Long Island was among at least 90 people who died in the Surfside condo collapse, her family confirmed.

Judy Spiegel’s body was recovered from the search site on Friday, her daughter, Rachel Spiegel, wrote on Instagram.

As of Sunday night, 90 deaths had been confirmed in the June 24 collapse of Champlain Towers South in Surfside.

“Today was one of the hardest days of our lives,” Rachel Spiegel wrote. “While this was the absolute worst news in the world, we are happy that we have been reunited.”

“The intense roller coaster of emotions that we have experienced over the past 18 days has been indescribable,” she added. “We truly appreciate all of our family and friends for being by outside, rooting us on, and praying that we be reunited with our mom.”

Judy Spiegel lived in Plainview before she moved to Surfside, NBC New York reported.
