NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 55-year-old man was indicted on Thursday for allegedly raping and brutalizing a woman he had met for a date on Long Island, according to court documents.
According to the indictment, on January 25, Yossef Kahlon agreed to meet the victim at his home in Great Neck home.
Once inside, Kahlon asked her if she would like to be bound, to which she consented.
The victim, however, did not consent to be struck or harmed, which Kahlon allegedly ignored that request, struck her multiple times, and forcibly raped her, the indictment adds.
"This defendant allegedly brutalized a woman in his home and forced his victim to perform various sexual acts," said Acting District Attorney Joyce Smith in a statement.
Nassau County police officers arrested Kahlon on Aug. 19 and charged him with criminal sexual acts, rape in the first degree, and aggravated sexual abuse.
Kahlon was forced to surrender his passports and submit to electronic ankle monitoring. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison.
"If you believe you have been a victim of Yossef Kahlon, we urge you to call the Special Victims Bureau at (516) 571-1266 and report the incident," Smith added.
